DRIVING LICENCE
A driving licence is required to drive motorcycles and cars.
To get your driving licence, you need to pass a theoretical and practical driving test.
If your driving licence has been issued in a country other than Italy, it is generally valid – with a few exceptions!
If you have been residing in Italy for more than one year, you have to transfer your foreign driving licence.
If you have been residing in Italy for more than 60 days, you need to get an Italian number plate (targa) for your car.
