LEGALISATION OF DOCUMENTS
In Italy, official documents issued by foreign authorities need to be legalised to be valid.
This requires the documents to be translated into Italian.
The accuracy of the translated text needs to be sworn (asseverazione) before the Giudice di Pace (Justice of the Peace).
